The Joy of less

In these modern societies, people live in the realm of materialism and consumerism. We always think the more you get, the better you are, but actually it seems that the more money you spend, the less important it seems. Are we neglecting the value of life and losing our selves in this materialism world? The joy of less gives the reflection about today’s generation in the consumerism world. It challenges and encourages the viewer to implement the culture of less by showing the reverse psychology between less and more.

Ji Lee is a Genius Guy

i really adored his works, everything that he has done was genius!Currently, he works for Google Creative as Creative Designer in New York. His daring works are not only inspiring but also teaching me how to be carefree and fearless designer. As you can see from his portfolio, he is not a type of artist who prioritize the beauty of its picture. The focus of his works can be seen on how it communicates the message in genuine way. Honestly, It's entertaining yet intriguing.

Ji lee, is definitely one of the best designers in the world!!!

Swopping Day Campaign

Brochure DesignSwopping day is a campaign that aims to raise awareness about the consumerism issue. The idea of the campaign is derived from the word “swop” itself, of which means trading or exchanging goods.

“Giving and Receiving” is the procedure of the campaign. The two hands which shown in the logo is meant to deliver this message to the audience. If you take a look closer, you will see that those two hands are shaping the letter “S”, where as the circle shape symbolizes a world or a universe.

Blue and green are used to be main color of the logo. The color choice aims to enhance the environmental-friendly feeling, which basically relates to the purpose of this campaign. By swopping away your stuff, you could help in reducing waste, re-using and recycling valuable resources. More importantly, you are one step closer bringing the world to a sustainable future.

Signage Design- Sentosa Resort World

The signage is inspired by sentosa Resort environment which is surrounded by water. The signage is the combination of water drop shape and "s" letter. The concept behind is "changeable" signage, You can hang on the signage to the pole (as you see from orientation signs below). So that in the future, when ever there is changes of direction, they do not need to change the whole signage. What they need to do, they can just change the signage and keep the pole.
